I tried to take some pictures to put in a birth announcement but she wasn't in the best mood.

Sean's new sister
Marisol Elizabeth Duffin, born March 20th 2010 at 8.26am, 7lbs 6oz.
Getting her 1st bath
Getting her blonde hair washed for the 1st time
Mommy and her new baby born on the 1st day of spring
Sean coming to visit his sister
Sean takes a picture of Bridget and Mari
Mari's eyes already look blue
She already knows how to give hugs
All our kids at home at last
Sean loves his little sister so much already

March 6: New Rooms
It was bathtime so I was able to take pictures of the newly decorated rooms with the new shutters. I wanted to take pictures in the daylight but I can never seem to be able to do that when Sean is out and about.
Here is Mari's room with the new shutters. Mari gets Sean's old bedroom, next to ours.
Stephen painted the walls aqua and hung up new pink curtains with the curtain rods from our (pre-shutter) bedroom.
The Hello Kitty bedding set was Alejandra's baby shower gift to Marisol.
Here is Sean's new room. This is where Stephen reads to Sean before bed. I think Sean has the prettiest window in the house because of the sunburst shutters on top.
Sean calls this his "choo-choo bed." We bought a new sheet and bedskirt from eBay, cubbies from Ikea, and Mom got him the picture. The new train bedding made his room transition easier because he was so excited about it.

February 2010
Valentine's Day 2010
We went to the Santa Ana Zoo and of course rode the train.
After Sean's nap we went for a heart shaped pizza at Pizza d'Oro.But Sean only likes garlic bread right now.February 21
We went for a miniature train ride at "Goathill Junction" at Fairview Park. We will probably have Sean's 2nd birthday party here. Model train enthusiasts run the place and give free train rides once a month and in May it falls on Sean's birthday. There are lots of picnic tables for parties and gatherings. It's across the street from the model airplane area at the park you used to visit.

Corona del Mar State Beach--family time.
